fallen soldiers, while promoting meaningful contributions from its soldiers and alumni to Israeli society.
The foundation’s Memorial Department is responsible for honoring the memory of the 29 soldiers who fell in service, maintaining close relationships with the bereaved families, providing ongoing support, and connecting unit alumni with the families. Throughout the year, the department organizes various projects in collaboration with the families to commemorate the fallen soldiers, as well as providing continuous support during annual memorial days and the national Memorial Day.
In addition, the department supports the families of soldiers who fell during the Iron Swords operations, who served in the unit and were alumni from different cohorts.
